Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of arlingtonhardware.com and any order you place through it. By browsing the site or buying from us, you agree to what follows. If something here does not sit right with you, please call the store before ordering and we will talk it through.

Who you are dealing with

Arlington Hardware & Lumber, Inc.
215 N Olympic Ave, Arlington, WA 98223
(360) 435-5523
[email protected]

We have been at this address since 1903. If you ever need a real person, that phone number reaches one.

Orders and pricing

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a finished sale. We confirm it when the order ships. We may cancel or refuse any order, including after you receive a confirmation email, if an item is out of stock, if a price or description was posted in error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you already paid for, you get a full refund to the original payment method.

Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice. Sale pricing applies only while the sale is running. Prices online may differ from prices in the store.

Returns and exchanges

Online returns are refunded as online store credit only, within 14 days of the delivery date. Store credit issued for an online return is not redeemable in the store.

• We cover the cost of the return label for domestic returns.
• Return shipping for international orders is at your expense.
• Items must reach our shipping facility within 14 days of delivery to qualify.
• Include your invoice with the return.

If something arrives damaged or we sent the wrong item, email [email protected] within 3 days with photos and we will make it right.

Questions about a return are best sent to [email protected].

Shipping

We ship within the United States by USPS. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Once a package is handed to the carrier, its timing is out of our hands. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier takes possession.

Product photos and descriptions

We write our own descriptions and photograph our own stock. Colors shift between screens, and prints on apparel vary slightly from garment to garment. We do our best to keep everything accurate, but we cannot promise a listing is free of every error. If a product arrives materially different from what was described, tell us and we will sort it out.

Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for anything done under your login. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

Reviews and anything else you post

If you leave a product review or send us content, you give us permission to display it on the site. Keep it civil and keep it yours. We remove anything abusive, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights, and we are not obligated to publish anything.

Where we link out, we do not control what is on the other end and we are not responsible for it.

Disclaimers

The site is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of anything harmful. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Arlington Hardware & Lumber is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or from any product bought through it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving Snohomish County, Washington.
